What's Happening in The Big Bend!?
A Border Wall to Start Construction in Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. The CBP has released and updated "Smart Wall" Plans, which include wall construction as early as June. Contractors are already here assessing!!
Mapped footprint includes border wall sections through Rio Grande Village, Hot Springs Historic District, Cottonwood Campground, Santa Elena Canyon Overlook, Big Bend Ranch State Park river corridor, The La Junta Archeological District around Presidio and Redford. DHS is waiving 28 federal protection laws to make this wall happen. This is happening and it is here so we must act NOW! This is not about politics, this is about conservation. This is our land.
